Wool Stairs & Slabs

Wool Stairs & Slabs adds wool stairs and wool slabs in all 16 colors — the blocks coming in Minecraft's Third Drop (26.3) — so you can build with them today, on the version you're already playing.

The blocks are registered under their real vanilla IDs (minecraft:white_wool_slab, minecraft:white_wool_stairs, and so on). That means when the official update arrives, your builds simply become the genuine blocks — even after you remove this mod.

Future-proof by design

Minecraft stores every placed block by its ID. Because this mod uses the same IDs the real Third Drop will ship, the transition is seamless:

Update to the real 26.3 release and remove this mod. Every stair and slab you placed is already the official block — same shape, same state, untouched. (Verified end-to-end: a world built with this mod opens in an unmodded 26.3 snapshot with every block intact.)

What you get

16 colors × stairs and slabs — every wool color, in both shapes. Crafted like vanilla — 3 wool in a row → 6 slabs; the stair pattern → 4 stairs. Full block behavior — waterloggable, every facing/half/shape, and they dampen sculk sensor vibrations just like wool. No custom textures — they reuse Minecraft's own wool textures and stair/slab models, so they match your packs.
