Description

KYDIAN'S YELLING ALIEN

This is the first add-on for the Alien Evolution add-on for Palladium that aims to make the transformation event more alive and immersive, as well as give a personality to aliens.

The main feature of this add-on is the name shouting voice lines, which will play on transformation according to the chosen alien.

Disclaimer:

This add-on is 100% human-made and AI-free. All the code is hand-written, and the voice lines are either voice-acted or taken straight from the show.

This add-on is still in the alpha testing phase. Most voice lines will be improved in the future, so expect frequent updates for it. The purpose of this release is to give feedback a girlish voice line on the current work in order to guide the project to perfection.

Special Thanks:

- Os-Zodiac for voicing XLR8.

- CreeperCraft for financial support.

Mod Features:

  • Alien name yells on every transformation.
  • A variety of voice lines for every alien, one is picked randomly every time.
  • Voice lines play when joining worlds already as an alien.
  • Sneak while transforming to disable the yell.

Implemented Alien VLs:

  1. FourArms.
  2. DiamondHead.
  3. HeatBlast.
  4. CannonBolt.
  5. XLR8.
  6. GhostFreak.
  7. Upgrade.
  8. StinkFly.
  9. GreyMatter.
  10. WildMutt.
  11.  RipJaws.
  12. Murk Upchuck (OmniExtras).

Next Update:

  • Reworking some voice lines.
  • Adding OmniExtras compatibility.

Future Plans:

  • Add compatibility with custom alien add-ons.
  • Replace the vanilla sound effect when taking damage as aliens.
  • Add transformation animations to the aliens once transformed (not transformation sequences!).

Installation:

After acquiring the .jar file, it goes to the "mods" folder, just like any other mod.

This is my very first MC Java mod. A good effort has been put into this. I hope this receives the support it deserves!
