About
Description
YouTube Chat Overlay is a client-side Forge mod that lets you see live YouTube stream chat directly inside Minecraft while you play.
The mod displays chat messages as a clean, unobtrusive HUD overlay, so streamers and viewers can keep up with live chat without tabbing out of the game. Messages update in real time and appear on screen independently from Minecraft’s normal chat.
A built-in config screen allows you to paste or change the YouTube stream URL from inside the game, making it easy to switch streams or reconnect without restarting Minecraft. The mod runs entirely on the client and does not affect servers or other players.

YTChat is a lightweight, client-side Fabric mod that displays live YouTube stream chat directly on your Minecraft screen as a small, Twitch-style HUD overlay. It scrapes the public YouTube live chat endpoint (no YouTube Data API required) and updates in near real time, showing colored usernames, wrapped messages, and a fixed on-screen chat box that never interrupts gameplay.
The mod is completely safe for servers, requires no server-side installation, and works on any Fabric client. You can configure the stream URL in-game, and optionally integrate with Mod Menu for easy access to settings. Perfect for streamers, viewers, and anyone who wants live YouTube chat inside Minecraft.
