Welcome to Zachary's Dragon Mod, a Minecraft mod that adds regular (generic) dragons to Minecraft!

About this mod

This mod adds generic dragons to Minecraft. The dragons added by this mod fly around, spitting fireballs at players and villagers.

Usage

Spawn a dragon by building the structure shown below. The last block placed must be the dragon head, or else it will not work! Dragons are quite difficult to kill in survival mode, especially without really strong armor (think diamond or netherite). However, once you do kill a dragon, you are rewarded with 12,000 XP and even a dragon head!

You can also spawn a dragon using a dragon spawn egg (the egg's texture has a light green background and darker green spots), which you can obtain from the creative inventory in the "Miscellaneous" tab, or by using the command "/give @s dragonmod:dragon_spawn_egg".

Trivia

  • The dragons added by this mod use the same model as the base game's ender dragon, but the texture is a palette swap of the ender dragon's texture. Similarly, this mod's dragons use the same sounds as the ender dragon.
  • This mod's dragons also have the same amount of health as the ender dragon (200HP, or 100 hearts), and the amount of XP dropped by the mod's dragons is also the same as that of the ender dragon (12,000 XP).
