ZeroCore is a NeoForge 1.21.1 performance mod. Gameplay stays vanilla. Works with Sodium, Iris, and most packs. Not CoFH ZeroCore.

Full speed (required)

  • GraalVM JDK 21
  • --enable-preview --enable-native-access=zerocore
  • Windows / Linux / macOS (x64 and ARM)

Without GraalVM + flags the game still starts, but the heavy engine is off.

What it speeds up

Pathfinding, distant mob AI, collisions, worldgen noise, chunk density/interpolation, biomes, ores, disks, tree foliage, caves, spawn density, fluid flow, chunk save packing.

Off by default: extra item merge, leaf decay, extra lighting. XP orbs are left to Clumps. Meshing is off if Sodium is present.

After install, run once as op:

/zerocore calibrate

It picks the fastest mode on this machine (vanilla / java / native) per feature. Restart not required until you want to redo it.

P.S. The client needs the task to be completed in a single‑player world!

Synthetic bench can lie. Use calibrate + measure in a real world (mobs, new chunks), not in the sky.

Что ускоряет

Путь мобов, ИИ дальних мобов, столкновения, шум генерации, плотность/интерполяция чанков, биомы, руды, диски, кроны, пещеры, плотность спавна, течение жидкости, упаковка чанка при сейве.

Выкл. по умолчанию: частый merge предметов, гниение листьев, доп. свет. XP-орбы отданы Clumps. Мешинг выкл. при Sodium.

После установки один раз от имени оператора:

/zerocore calibrate

Подберёт самый быстрый режим на этом ПК (ваниль / java / native) по каждой функции.

P.S для клиента требуется выполнить в одиночном мире!

Синтетика может врать. Для правды: calibrate и measure у мобов и новых чанков, не в небе.
