Description

A tool for changing or disabling certain game features, as well as some useful features that will come in handy when creating modpacks

Useful tags:

  • disable_waterlogging tag disable the "waterlogged" property for blocks using this tag, simply apply it to the block you don’t want to be able to pour water, or lava if "lavalogged" is enabled.
  • keep_after_death special tag can be added to items so they don’t drop from the inventory after the player dies and remain after respawning.

You can also enable the ability to pour lava like water into fence, stairs, slabs and walls by setting the "lavalogged" value in config.json.

Easy configuration of block flammability and the composter items:

The following changes are applied in the config file config/znt/*

  • block_compostables.json allows you to add your own items to the composter that can be placed inside it
{
   "items": [
      {
         "id": "minecraft:oak_boat",
         "chance": 0.65
      },
      {
         "id": "minecraft:rotten_flesh",
         "chance": 0.15
      }
   ]
}
  • block_flammable.json allows you to make blocks flammable
{
   "items": [
      {
         "id": "minecraft:redstone_block",
         "flammableChance": 60,
         "burnSpeed": 100
      }
   ]
}

Easily add or edit potion recipes and villagers trades:

  • All recipes are located in the potion_recipes.json file
{
   "type": "add_mix",
   "fromPotionID": "minecraft:leaping",
   "ingredientItemID": "minecraft:fermented_spider_eye",
   "toPotionID": "minecraft:slowness"
}
  • All trades are located in the villager_trades folder, this folder and the files with trades it will be created on config folder after you first enter the world.

Removal/Disabling/Modification:

  • disabled_biomes.json removes a biome from generation by simply adding its ID
    [
        "minecraft:dark_forest"
    ]
  • disabled_block_entity_renderer.json disables BlockEntityRender for blocks, for example, you can disable rendering for a chest and add a model via blockstate and models as you would for a regular block, this change automatically sets the block’s RenderShape to MODEL. You can view this id in the F3 menu next to the block information.
    [
        "minecraft:ender_chest"
    ]
  • disabled_enchantments.json disables enchantments by their ID, they cannot be applied to items and will not be available on the enchanting table
    [
        "minecraft:mending",
        "minecraft:smite"
    ]
  • disabled_entity.json completely disables an entity, it can no longer be spawned in the world
    [
        "minecraft:slime"
    ]
  • disabled_items.json completely removes items, they will all be replaced with air. It also automatically removes these items from all tags and recipes (auto-deletion can be disabled in config.json under "autodelete")
    [
        "minecraft:sniffer_egg",
        "minecraft:target",
        "minecraft:stick"
    ]
  • disabled_mob_effects.json completely disables the ability to apply effects to mobs or players
    [
        "minecraft:regeneration"
    ]
  • disabled_recipe.json deletes a recipe by its ID, here, you need to account for the folders in which the recipe is located. For example, for the following path to a recipe: "data/example_mod_id/recipes/example_folder/example_recipe.json", its ID will be "example_mod_id:example_folder/example_recipe", regular expressions such as “/example_mod_id:example_folder.*/” are also supported.
    [
        "minecraft:bow",
        "example_mod_id:example_folder/example_recipe",
        "/minecraft:.*_sword/",
        "/minecraft:.*_bed/"
    ]
  • item_stack_overrides.json for modifying item properties, here you can change stack size, durability, damage, attack speed, and knockback. If an item lacks a specific attribute, it will be automatically added if specified, all parameters are optional
{
   "items": [
      {
         "id": "minecraft:snowball",
         "stackSize": 44,
         "attackDamage": 18.5,
         "attackSpeed": -3.5,
         "knockback": 10.0
      },
      {
         "id": "minecraft:iron_sword",
         "durability": 512,
         "attackDamage": 18.5
      }
   ]
}
