Description
Zocular
A zoom and cinematic camera mod for Minecraft, developed by Bhored.
Zocular gives you a smooth zoom, a film-style cinematic camera, and a full freecam - all in one client-side mod, configurable in-game.
✨ Features
🔍 Zoom
- Smooth, eased zoom with hold-to-zoom (first person) and toggle (third person).
- Zoom in/out keys and scroll-wheel zooming.
- Reduced look sensitivity while zoomed for steady aiming.
- (Prefer another zoom mod like OkZoomer? Turn the built-in zoom off in the config and keep just the cinematic camera.)
🎬 Cinematic Camera (press O)
- Smooth zoom-out to a wide, far third-person view - like a cinematic chase cam.
- Letterbox bars that slide in/out with a smooth transition.
- Locked camera: holds still so you ride across a fixed frame, then smoothly pans to re-center you when you reach the screen edge.
- Re-frame when hidden: the camera moves to find you again if you slip behind terrain.
- Auto-Orbit: slowly arc the camera around yourself.
- Scenic Cut (press X): instantly cut to a fresh random angle.
- Vignette: optional edge darkening (Subtle / Medium / Heavy).
- Shader control: automatically turn your Iris shaders on (or off) in cinematic view, restored on exit.
- HUD hidden (F1-style) for a clean shot - your player and name tag still show.
- Adjustable turn speed, pan duration, zoom-out distance, and more.
🎥 Freecam (press K)
- Detaches a real camera so the world loads and renders around it like spectator mode.
- Fly with WASD, Space (up), Shift (down); hold Sprint to go faster, or Sprint + scroll to fine-tune speed.
- Strict mode (collides with blocks) or Noclip mode (fly through walls) — toggle in the config.
- Your player freezes in place and stays visible with its name tag so you can frame yourself.
