Zombies With Ender Pearls

What happens when zombies don't just chase you…

but teleport straight to you?

Zombies With Ender Pearls gives zombies the ability to use Ender Pearls to close the distance between themselves and their targets.

When a zombie decides that walking isn't fast enough, it can throw an Ender Pearl and teleport toward its target, turning what would normally be a safe distance into a temporary problem.

Teleporting Undead

Zombies can spawn equipped with Ender Pearls, giving them a completely different way to pursue their targets.

Instead of simply following the normal path toward a player, a pearl-equipped zombie can use its Ender Pearl to rapidly close the gap.

That means:

• Walls and terrain may no longer keep you safe
• Long distances can be crossed much faster
• Running away may only buy you a few seconds
• A zombie can suddenly appear much closer than expected

Smart Pearl Usage

Zombies don't simply throw Ender Pearls randomly.

Their AI handles:

• When to throw
• Whether the target is far enough away
• Where to aim
• Whether the target is still valid
• When to continue pursuing normally

The zombie can use its pearl as part of its pursuit rather than wasting it immediately.

Target-Aware AI

Ender Pearl zombies use their current target while deciding how to use their pearls.

This allows them to throw toward the player they're actually pursuing instead of blindly throwing pearls in random directions.

The result is a zombie that can use teleportation as a mobility tool during combat, rather than simply having a cosmetic Ender Pearl.

Configurable Spawning

You decide how common Ender Pearl zombies should be.

You can configure the chance for zombies to spawn equipped with Ender Pearls, allowing you to create anything from:

A rare teleporting zombie encounter

to:

An apocalypse where nowhere is safe.

Keep the chance low for an occasional surprise.

Increase it if you want teleporting zombies to become a regular part of survival.

FLAME's Zombie Lib

Zombies With Ender Pearls uses FLAME's Zombie Lib for its shared zombie equipment and configuration systems.

This allows it to work alongside other FLAME zombie mods while keeping shared equipment systems consistent and easier to maintain.
