About

Description

A minecraft modpack with various improvement:

  • World generation (Tectonic, Biomes o'plenty, Dungeons and Taverns)
  • QoL (Xaero's maps, FallingTree, Serene Seasons, Distant Horizons)
  • Temperature and thirst system (Homeostatic)
  • Various performance mods to keep system load under control (still not a lightweight pack)

A player wandering in a plain full of lilac flowers

Performance:

The modpack is pretty heavy on the CPU, so slowdowns can occur on older processors. It struggles on server with less than 4GBs of RAM and only one CPU core available. It's advised to pregenerate the world to avoid chuncks not loading while playing. You can do so with:

/dh pregen start minecraft:overworld 0 0 96

Note: you can replace 96 with the desired distance from spawn in chunks.

GPU shouldn't be a constraint if you can play regular mincercaft at about 100fps, feel free to lower the settings or disable distant horizons if the system struggles.
