Description

Welcome to the Wonderland

This is a modpack based on liminality, a concept I am fascinated about, especially about the "Dreamcore" aesthetic from the late 2010s and early 2020s. It's hard to create something that can make you feel uneasy and nostalgic for something you never even lived, and when I saw a new emerging mod based on such concepts, I really wanted to play it. Thus I created this Modpack and released it, because why not?

(PHOTOSENSITIVITY WARNING)

Based on The Wonderland.jar and From the Caves, mods I think go really well together, both basing themselfs on modified versions of Steve.
I found it to be very tense overall, I was on edge the whole time while testing. It's purposefully a laid back experience, to make you fully focus on the tense elements instead of the usual Minecraft "challenges", and provide close to none penalty to death. I've always felt that the famous "Dwellers" are just cheap jumpscares that stop having any effect of "fear of seeing it" and quickly turn into "fear of losing your items", as most people know. It includes dimensions, entites, spooks and scares and all of the usual ARG experience, but the fact that this mod is more vanilla-like in a way that it usual the already unsettling moments of the game is the right way to go as far as Minecraft horror mods go, in my opinion.

This mod can't really mess with your device in any way, so don't worry. It's recommended to allocate atleast 6-8GB to allow for smooth gameplay (ONLY DO IT IF YOUR DEVICE HAS ATLEAST 16GB TOTAL).

As always, credits to all mod developers from the modpack. Peace!
