Adversary Rising

Adversary Rising is an Adventure/RPG based modpack that attempts to enhance the play of Vanilla Minecraft through the use of various mods and recipe changes. It provides tools for multiple play styles, letting each individual player choose how they interact with the world.

Major Content mods include: Create (with minimal addons), Ars Nouveau, Apotheosis (with many things heavily nerfed to help prevent being too OP), Farmer's Delight (with numerous addons), Thirst Was Taken, Harder Farther, Quark, and End Remastered (to prevent rushing to the End fight).

Minor mods include: Carry On, Storage Drawers, Corrail Tombstone, Corail Woodcutter, Gliders, Comforts, and many QoL and optimization mods.

New terrain generation through Tectonic and Terralith, so no new biomes to clog your inventory with random blocks that do nothing. Distant Horizons is included in order to take advantage of the amazing terrain generated by these mods. We have also included the Pale Garden backport mod for access to the new biome and wood set.

There are a ton of new dungeons and structures to explore from When Dungeons Arise, Integrated Dungeons and Structures, Better Archeology, Dungeon Now Loading, and the entire Yung's suite of mods.

When it comes to the RPG aspect, we use Just Leveling Fork to slow early progression and gate the use of items and equipment behind the various skill levels which are unlocked using XP. Just Leveling also adds many passive skills and attributes that are unlocked as you gain levels in the various skills.

We also have the Simple RPG Races mod that allows you to further customize your character by choosing a race. Along with a quest to choose a starting "class", which will give you a cusotm starting equipment set and a few levels in two different skills.

There is a complete quest book (some chapters are still a WIP) with over 700 quests designed to walk players through each of the major mods and gameplay mechanics in the pack.

Future Updates to the pack will add a new starting dimension and structure in order to explain the story aspect behind the pack. There will also be a custom final dimension with a large custom dungeon and boss fight. There will also be tweaks to the quest book and balance of many of the mods to ensure as balanced a play experience as we can make.
