About

Description

Description:

Afterlife Beginnings is a lightweight modpack that centers around the Origins mod, a few add-ons for Origins, and several custom-made origins.  The overall mod count is kept intentionally low.

World Generation:

1.17 - Traverse and the Better* mods spice up the Overworld, Nether, and End.

1.18 - World generation is left alone to experience the new terrain in a close to vanilla form.

1.19 - Incendium and Nullscape by Starmute provide a fresh take on the Nether and End using only vanilla blocks.

Known Bugs (1.17):

  • Running the /reload command will cause the default BetterNether/BetterEnd recipes to disappear.  Close and re-open the world to solve this.
  • Overlapping stair recipes for BetterEnd materials
  • Cat Sidhe Origin is missing a name and description for an ability.  It's purely a visual bug.

Featured Mods:

  • Origins
  • Extra Origins
  • Genesis (1.17 - 1.18)
  • Origins: Classes

QoL

  • Chainmail Armor is craftable with chains in the standard armor shapes
  • Output of Chain recipe increased to 2
  • Custom recipe for the Orb of Origin (1 Nether Star, 4 Diamonds, 4 Eyes of Ender)

  • Nether Lapis Ore and Nether Ruby Ore are smeltable (1.17)

Frequently/Commonly Asked Questions:

  • How do you recharge the Artificial Fairy?

No.  This is a modpack for Java Edition.
