As you explore the world you see amazing caves you can explore and find new items and structures in and when you get bored you can open up some chance cubes and Pandora's boxes, I wouldn't'open them up next to your base. You can also automate almost everything with the create mod to make the experience a little bit easier. The goal of this modpack is to explore and find new things that you didn't even know could be added to Minecraft.
