You wake up in a strange world of endless oceans and mushroom islands, with nothing but your loyal dog **Chester** at your side and a quest book you don't remember owning. Your mission: **transform this lifeless land into a world full of life.**

## Bring the world to life
- **Terraform with the Genesis Seed:** craft it, stand on the alien mushroom ground, and right-click to turn the land around you into real, living green ground.
- **A world unlike vanilla:** the overworld is oceans of every temperature and mushroom-field islands, with lush caves, dripstone caves and the deep dark below.
- **Revive prehistoric life** with XenoTech: dig up the parts and bring dinosaurs back.
- **A living environment** from Dynamic Environment: earthquakes, cyclones, blizzards, rain puddles, breezes and more, plus Serene Seasons and Tough As Nails survival.

## Look after Chester
Chester is a Doggy Talents dog, and it's up to you to train him and level up his talents. **Keep him safe: if Chester dies, it's game over for you too.**

## Build a home
- **MCA villagers** with real personalities, families, romance, reputation, quests and conversations, and MineColonies to grow a full colony.
- A **Village Bonds** quest line that rewards your friendships.
- **Create** and its add-ons for machines, Farmer's Delight cooking, Sophisticated Storage and Backpacks, and Star Worm Equestrian horses.

## Explore and fight
- Dragons from Ice and Fire, bosses from L_Ender's Cataclysm, Alex's Mobs and Alex's Caves.
- Dungeons and structures from YUNG's, Moog's and many more, with Lootr chests.
- **Loot bags** from mob kills, including kills made by your tamed animals, with bonus events that range from meh to amazing.

## Guided by quests
An FTB Quests storyline takes you from **Crash Landing** through **Terraforming**, **Prehistoric Revival**, **Village Bonds**, **Create**, **The Shop** and more.
