Ancient Colonies is a simple, exploration-driven modpack centered around The Dawn Era and MineColonies, with a small selection of extra mods added to enhance the experience. The world is alive with prehistoric creatures—some peaceful, others fiercely territorial—making exploration and resource gathering naturally risky without becoming overwhelming.

Alongside the core mods, a handful of carefully chosen additions, such as lightweight utility tools, small prehistoric expansions, and archaeology-themed mods, help flesh out the world and give players more to discover while keeping gameplay simple and accessible.

The focus remains clear: explore, build, and survive in a land shaped by ancient life. There are no long tech trees or heavily layered systems—just a balanced mix of colony building, exploration, and survival with a prehistoric twist.

If you’re looking for a straightforward modpack where your colony grows in a lively, dinosaur-filled world, Ancient Colonies delivers exactly that.
