Another Vanilla+ Pack

I created this modpack as a way to bridge the gap of people who want a more modded experience when playing Minecraft and those who might not want to download mods. Players using this pack can connect and play with players not using this pack on servers that use or don't use this pack!

Additions

This modpack adds many of the performance enhancements seen in other sodium-based modpacks. It also includes multi-dimensional terrain generation from the Terralith, Tectonic, and Nullscape modpacks. On top of this, Dungeons and Taverns is used to flesh out exploration even more. There are many other small tweaks to Minecraft gameplay not listed as well. All of these features come together to create a modded Minecraft experience that can be enjoyed by both vanilla clients and clients using this modpack.

Use Cases

- Connecting to a server running this modpack, as a vanilla client

• This will give vanilla clients a modded exploration experience, utilizing mods such as Terralith, Tectonic, Nullscape, and Dungeons and Taverns. They will also get many of the vanilla improvements such as new enchantments, bug fixes, or gameplay enhancments like vein miner.

- Connecting to a vanilla server, as a client running this modpack

• This will give you the performance enhancments from mods like Sodium and Lithium. It will also provide UI improvements, texture imporvements, and audio enhancments.

- Connecting to a server running this modpack, as a client running this modpack

• This is the best way to experience this pack, as it will include all of the above listed features while also including features that only modded clients can do on the modded server, such as having a trash bin in your inventory or using voice chat.

Server Setup

When creating a server you can drag every mod downloaded to the server mods folder besides CreativeCore and AmbientSounds. Creative core is only needed for the ambient sounds mod, which is purely client side. So installing it on the server is uneccessary and prevents vanilla clients from joining the server. This modpack also includes a few server-side only mods that are added as a way to help server owner's get their servers started quickly. Thus, some of them need tweaking in order to get the way you want them to behave. Mods such as TAB, LuckPerms, and Vein Miner to name a few. You will also need to portforward 24454 UDP for the Simple Voice Chat mod if you want to use that.
