Description
The High Mage Society is running out of resources. You have been chosen to scout out this strange world of supposed arcane abundance, in hopes that it will be a viable future home for all of magekind. With no way to go back and only a small parcel of items to assist you, the only thing to do now is to start exploring. Welcome to Arcane Twilight.
As you venture through the Twilight Forest, you'll find some things have changed. New sights dot your world, new loot in familiar places, and a handful of quests to help you along the way.
Notable Features:
- Arcane Twilight is a purely magic modpack. You won't find a single spark of electricity, a single spool of wire, or a tooth of a gear.
- The modpack has three endings, plus an additional secret ending.
- Plenty of new twists on the classic Twilight Forest
To mark release the 2.0.0 Update, here's an extended description:
- Many major magic mods separated into three different factions
- Nature/Living: Botania, Roots, Nature's Aura
- Cursed/Dark: Blood Magic, Eidolon, Occultism
- Crystalline/Ancient: Astral Sorcery, Ars Nouveau, Elemental Craft
- Enough resource-based progression gates to make you interact with the Twilight Forest, but used sparingly so as to not leave the player feeling stuck
- A quest book that guides the player through the various changes that have been made, but not hold their hand throughout the experience. It's a sandbox game after all!
