Description
Bat Country contains a good selection of mods for the Modded MC newcomer, and is a great gateway for larger, FTB style mod packs.
Start off by finding a neat biome to set up your base in with Biomes O' Plenty and Natura. Then start collecting the basics with Pam's HarvestCraft and Tree Chopper. Finally, delve into Tinkers Construct to build the ultimate toolset for survival. Store all your stuff in expandable Iron Chests, remember where you're going with JourneyMap, and know exactly what you're looking at and for with Waila and JEI. And don't worry too much if you die along the way, since GraveStone Mid will keep all your stuff safe until you can get back to it!
