Look at the size of this lad

Let me start by saying it is genuinely impressive how big this pack is and the fact I can even get it to run in single-player or as a server on my local machine is a miracle.
I'll point out I did this successfully and without performance issues at significantly less than the recommended ram settings, 10gb each for the client and server.
After adding a few of my own mods, 608 jars in the mods folder, this number has already gone up in the latest update. Of course, as advertised this includes both fabric and forge mainstays.

Compared to other mega-sized mod packs I've played,
It's a bit smaller (for now) than Starpack Titan and a bit less preformant.
Crashes far less than Omega Adventure Pack,
and actually runs for me, unlike Mystic's Monstrosity.

On top of that, it's a 1.20 pack with all of its hundreds of mods up to date.
The only technical issue I've encountered is a crash when using the ponder feature of ae2 and its addons (presumably this would also happen when pondering create).

Notably, while it's latest updates are all under the release channel, the modlist is frequently changing still, with mods being added and removed regularly.

The Gameplay

There's not that much to comment on here, it's a kitchen sink that mostly cares about having as many mods as possible. There is a final item and a few quests related to it, and creative item recipes for the "post-game". Personally, these progression elements failed to really catch my interest, while the Ultibean is unique its recipe is not the most complicated or engaging imo, and the rewards for getting it are a bit pointless as you should already be plenty OP. While ProjectE is gated behind some quests and unique recipes, it's still projectE and once you have it it's a matter of time before you're all powerful, personally, it took me about 2 days to reach the final power flower, notably, the watch of flowing time does require you to get deep into rats which looks to be a challenge, but the vanilla recipe tiab makes it redundant for the most part anyways.
A lot of quests are re-used from other packs, and so are a good number of recipes, I want to be clear I don't think this is an inherently bad thing, rather a solid indication that the gameplay of the pack comes second to providing a massive kitchen sink, this personally doesn't quite fit into my playstyle these days but would probably be a blast with friends.
Additionally, AE2's channel mode is set to "infinite" by default, making its one gate of complexity irrelevant, now I can see where this would have a benefit to servers, for single-player play this does serve to make you even more OP even quicker with little challenge.
Where I do think it deserves points is that the quest rewards are all loot bags, and while that may lack polish or intentional design for a pack like this the prospect of opening up hundreds of completely random rewards in a pack with lord knows how many items really does add to the fun.

That being said, if you're looking for a sandbox kitchen sink, I think this is a great option for chaotically experiencing some of the latest and greatest the modded scene has to offer.

About

Description

Bean is back, with a new modpack on 1.20.1!
Fair warning: This pack is HUGE, 12-16GB allocated is a REQUIREMENT. Total system memory should be 20GB or higher to play! Not required but HIGHLY recommended for smoother gameplay

Specific versions of java offer a different kind of JVM that offers better performance and lets Faster Random mod work.

description_ea7e249a-91c8-4fc2-a5c6-68a7d7ed2ccc.png

Without these specific jvm's, faster random mod will disable itself. Faster Random can help make the game run smoother :)

Pack should no longer crash on boot

Currently Regurgitated is Stable/WIP. (Stable will change to Released when its ready)

Refrigerated is still WIP and so is Regurgitated.

More mods and quests will be added as time goes on.

Divine RPG, Twilight Forest (+ addon to resummon bosses), and Ad Astra for dimensions to conquer (50+ Dimensions!)

Some amazing fabric mods on forge 47.2.19 (Thanks to Sinytra Connector!)

Custom recipes to make creative items (some exist but still need more)

Some custom kubejs items to withhold the power of beans.

Custom fluid and gas called Nitromethane for insane power gen with advanced generators mod.

Allthemodium with a different approach and use.

Shaders work!

Constant updates!

Current fabric mods:

Numismatic Overhaul

Tech Reborn (removed since 1.7R)

Immersive Portals (removed since 3.3R)

Miniscaled (removed since 3.3R)
