Bequested

Bequested is a 1.12 modpack focused on exploration! Discover many different dungeons and structures, battle unique mobs and gather the rarest loot. And once you're done in the overworld, dive into the many different dimensions added into the pack, for even more adventures! Use all sorts of weapons and trinkets to fight against your enemies and defeat powerful bosses. Complete quests along the way and, who knows, maybe you'll unlock the hidden questlines...

The overworld is riddled with many different structures. From Chocolate Quest Repoured to Battle Towers to Recurrent Complex, fight your way through tens, if not hundreds, of castles, dungeons and other dangerous but exciting buildings. Battle the enemies within and claim rare and valuable loot. Gear up and make your way to the end of dungeons to defeat the bosses for special rewards. 

If the overworld is simply not exciting enough for you, there is always the option to travel to other dimensions. From Twilight Forest to Betweenlands and from the Aether to the Atum; dimensions are aplenty and, much like the overworld, filled with their own unique mobs and dungeons. Some dimensions can be travelled to from the get-go, others require a prerequisite. Check the questbook for more information.

There are many friendly mobs to find. Tame a Chocobo to speed across the lands, find a lifelong friend in a doggo from Doggy Talents and trade with the many merchants scattered around the worlds. However, beware of the hostile mobs as well. Encounter the many enemies from Journey Into The Light, stumble upon the expanded ender content from End: Reborn and battle against bosses such as Pharaos, Lich Kings and Sky Whales. 

Aside from the metric tons of gear and weapons, added by Spartan Weaponry and Metallurgy, there are many handy dandy gadgets and trinkets you can craft or find as loot. Let the Inventory Pets aid you on your journey, change your character stats with class rings from Trinkets & Baubles and defeat Mimics to your hand on some very useful artifacts. You can even craft a plane to soar through the skies!

There are quests and goals to achieve to help you out during the playthrough. These questlines give information on how to progress and provide guidelines for advancing deeper into the modpack. While the quests themselves are not fully required in order to enjoy the pack, they contain a lot of necessary information, specifically on how to travel to different dimensions, as well as giving lots of helpful tips and tricks. Complete quests even grant you some decent rewards. And if you manage to complete all quests, you might just unlock the final hidden questline.

There are many more aspects to this modpack. A full list of mods can be found below, however, you can also experience everything for yourself whilst playing. Sleep underneath the stars in a sleeping bag, gamble with your life for valuable rewards and cook many wonderful dishes in your kitchen. But don't take it from me, try it out for yourself!
