Description
This is the closest yet complete update of the original FTB Beta modpack for MC 1.4.2. This new MC 1.7.10 version has added the same/comparable mods & a few more tweaks and addons , it is the essence of that which was FTB Beta A 1.4.2
Be sure to use a resource pack compatible with ExtraBiomesXL
This pack is designed so that at any level of progression within the game, there is equipment which can be made/designed to keep tech progression going strong.
Low Level: Start small with resource hunting and storage facilitation - EZ Storage and Extended Tool/Wpns/Armors
Mid Level: After obtaining some resources, travel to new lands, integrate with tech, begin simplifying processes w/machinery - MystCraft & Twilight Forest, IC2, Thermal Expansion, and Buildcraft
High Level: Lots of gathered resources, tech integration maximized, strong weapons, limited flight, and Fusion/Fission power reactors - TechReborn (Gregtech) and IC2 Nuclear
End Level: Beat the End Dragon and continue your life through journeys to other dimensions and worlds
Don't be foolish though, tough enemies and an array of resource hunting hurdles will provide some tough challenges for the player attempting to survive this original and yet remade pack of FTB's first showcased mod feature 1.4.2 Beta.
