About
Description
Modpack to be used by the CIA Catgirls discord server, to play on the CIA Catgirls SMP server.
The goal of this modpack was to provide as many performance upgrades as possible for players with lower end computers. This serves to increase average FPS on old computers and laptops
Some highlights include:
- Sodium - optimizing the rendering engine
- FerriteCore - optimizes memory usage
- Enhanced Block Entities - reduces lag from blocks that render as entities like chests and beds
- Clumps - combines smaller XP orbs into larger ones to reduce entity count
- Get It Together, Drops! - similar to clumps but for dropped items
This pack also adds some popular quality of life changes. These server to improve the vanilla Minecraft experience without significantly impacting the look and feel of the game
Some highlights include:
- AppleSkin - displays the hunger and saturation that foods give
- Distant Horizons - renders far away chunks in lower quality, allowing view distance to be well above normal without significant performance impact
- Essential - customization, allows friends to join a single player world
- Just Enough Items - gives a search bar where crafting recipes can be looked up in game
- Xaero's Minimap - allows players to see their surroundings, including entities and other players
