Description
The official modpack for Connected Camps' Modded version of our popular Survival Club!
This club will explore a Modded Minecraft experience in a cooperative setting. Going above and beyond the vanilla version of the game, mods (or modifications) augment Minecraft with content created by the community and curated by us, here at Connected Camps! Building upon the foundations of the base gameplay, these mods create fun, fascinating, and sometimes ferocious opportunities. It is therefore encouraged that campers have previous experience with vanilla Minecraft.
Campers will learn about and survive within a world full of new biomes and creatures, while learning how to use all the tools and systems these new features provide. This will range from the mystical to the mechanical, as we aim to have something for everyone to enjoy. Club members can each choose specializations aligning with their own interests and trade rare goods with their friends, working collaboratively to form their own functioning community! This club heavily emphasizes socialized exploration and discovery, so campers are encouraged to cooperate and exchange knowledge and resources in order to understand the modpack and succeed as a team.
Together we will create a place to learn and enjoy this strange new world!
(To participate in this club, it is required to install the modding client Curseforge, and load it with this custom modpack.)
Recommended Minimum Computer Specs:
- CPU: 4-core 3.5 GHz
- RAM: 8 Gigabytes
After installation please apply these recommended java arguments, they really help the game play much more smoothly, on both high and low end computers!
- Open your Curseforge
- Click Settings (the gear icon) in the lower left corner
- Select Minecraft (on the left) and scroll to the bottom
- Set the Allocated Memory slider to 4096MB
- In the text box labeled Additional Arguments paste the following:
-XX:+UseG1GC -Dsun.rmi.dgc.server.gcInterval=2147483646 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M
