Explore a new dimension that generates following the map of Middle-earth, 50+ biomes, hundreds of new blocks and items, many new trees and flowers, custom crafting and smelting stations, a fun drinks-brewing system (get roaring drunk on ale!!!), an extensive factions system, where your actions can earn or lose you alignment with many different groups; hundreds of NPCs and structures; the lands of Harad and Rhûn; fast travel, mini-quests, loads of new weapons and armor, multiplayer features such as banner protection, and much, much more!
To get started, simply create a New World and set the World Type to "Middle Earth," or, if you're in the Overworld, drop a Golden Ring into a fire to open the portal to Middle Earth.
