• Consoul's Emotional Journey to Becoming a Modpack
On Sunday, October 10th of 2020, I was watching Wilbur Soot's Dream SMP videos when I came up with the fantastic idea to create my own SMP server. But I wanted it to be unique; I wanted this to be my very own modded SMP. So I called up my friend and told him what I was thinking. We started out by adding the essential mods and then worked towards stuff that would be good for building.

We soon had a good list of building mods we thought were perfect for what we originally envisioned this modpack to be about. And then came the economy mod. We found a small, early beta mod called Economy Inc. It was just what we needed. Although it was a bit janky, we still managed to work around its jankiness. I then asked a few more friends what mods they wanted, while still keeping in mind which ones we couldn't have due to them being too OP. In the end, we ended up with around 43 mods.

• What is Consoul?
Consoul is a fantasy modpack for not only your building desires, but also for those who put more work into tech, magic, mining, and more! We tried to make this modpack as balanced as possible by doing countless polls in our 5 member discord group. Nothing is biased. I also decided to put my famous resource pack, VanillaFix, in to add more beauty to the game. I hope you have fun with this pack, and make sure to bring some friends along the way
