About
Description
Four Corners Skyblock is a Minecraft 1.12.2 (Forge) skyblock modpack made for family and friends. It has a custom multiplayer void map, a huge Hardcore Questing Mode quest line, and a mix of tech and magic mods.
The map
- A void world with four starting islands in four directions, far enough apart that nobody is crowding anyone.
- One island per colour: Blue, Purple, Yellow and Pink, built for 4 players.
- A central hub with scoreboard teams so each player has their own base.
The quests
- 1042 quests in 37 chapters, using Hardcore Questing Mode.
- The questbook walks you from the Wood Age (crooks, hammers, sieves) through to late-game tech and magic.
- Chapters cover Industrial Foregoing, Extreme Reactors, Ender IO, OpenComputers, Kitchen and Farm Blockheads, Builder’s Toolkit, Ex Compressum and more.
- A dedicated Tool Leveling chapter covers Tinkers’ tool levelling, with no smelting upgrade.
- A custom questbook cover and description, plus a custom main menu.
Playstyle
- Balanced tech and magic, so you can go in either direction or both.
- Expandable: add more mods and the questbook can grow with them.
- Made for co-op. Everyone gets their own island and quest progress.
Server notes
- Quests sync to players only if “Enable server sync” is set to true in
hardcorequesting.cfgon the server. - Add
-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8to the Java arguments on the server and on every client. Without it, quest files can be saved in the wrong encoding and show 0 quests after a restart. - Use 64-bit Java 8.
- On low-end PCs, try lower settings, turn off animated textures with a resource pack, and give the game enough RAM.
