Description

CraftBlock stands for Craft Attack 3 Skyblock and is an expert skyblock modpack like FTB Infinity Evolved Skyblock. That means you will have to play through many different mods, there will be way harder recipes but - this one is important - it's not too grindy. The modpack comes with custom items, custom recipes, custom advancements, custom mod progression, and new interdependencies. It also uses extreme crafting already in the early game - be prepared. Last, the modpack has its own map that is heavily inspired by the iconic Craft Attack 3 project. CraftBlock is the third modpack of skate702, a german streamer and creator of the Minecraft Sky modpack.
The early game heavily relies on Botania, Astral Sorcery, Hearth Well, Immersive Engineering and Embers. The advancements will roughly guide you through this modpack, but you also start with an already filled akashic tome that contains all the information you need. To get started, use the Botania ore generation known from garden of glass, i.e., Orechid. To proceed, play trough hearth well. Afterwards, you might be able to create your first machinery and electricity.
The modpack is not finished yet. Currently, the progression ends with tier 2 extreme crafting and a non-autocrafting version of Refined Storage. The modpack is under active development by skate702 and his community. Modpack playtrough as well as development are streamed live on twitch. The source files of the modpack are open source and available on github. Please feel free to create issues for any bugs you encounter and enhancements you may have. The server files can be found as well in the github release section.

Here are some tips and tricks to get you started:
1. This modpack does not have a quest book but there are custom advancements that will guide you (and even hidden ones!)
2. If you lose your akashic tome, you can easily craft a new one
3. There is a ton of stuff to discover in the map (including food). Happy exploring (but be aware of the fish!)
4. All ores you will need in the beginning can be easily generated by using a botania orcehid
5. An evil person made all vanilla tools useless... use tinker's construct or botania instead
6. This modpack heavily relies on Hearth Well with many custome recipes. Just use the ingame guide or JEI
7. Jungle trees are easier to chop down than many normal trees
