Create Conquest Arcane
What is Create Conquest Arcane ("CCA")? CCA has been a mod pack of passion for me for several years. CCA builds upon the beauty of Conquest Reforged and the challenge of constructing useful contraptions with Create and other fun mods. CCA is not limited to a normal overworld, which you can definitely choose to play. If Skyblock is your thing, then the BotaniaGarden of Glass is your ticket. Quests are a big part of the pack as well as your, Create Conquest Arcane guidebook (Patchouli) with lots of good information to help you out.
When I started porting the pack to 1.18.x, I did not realize this was likely the last Forge version of Conquest Reforged. The good news is Conquest Reforged is now available for Fabric Minecraft 1.19.2. Therefore, I have spent the past couple of months porting CCA to Fabric. This has been a huge task with lots of custom code and recipes to make it work, but I feel it was worth the effort. The performance gain is significant and we no longer need to use Optifine! I hope you enjoy this pack.
Be sure to look at the images page to see some of the things you can do with CCA.
IMPORTANT:
On the first install and before running the pack, complete the following tasks; otherwise, Minecraft will prompt you to install the mod, Optifine (1.18.2 Forge only), and the Conquest Reforged resource pack. Note: Applying the resource pack within the game can crash the game and require a restart. It will also interfere with installing some of the default config files.
1. Forge 1.18.2 only: Download and install preview_OptiFine_1.18.2_HD_U_H9_pre2.jar to minecraft/mods/preview_OptiFine_1.18.2_HD_U_H9_pre2.jar
2. Download and install the Conquest Reforged resource pack.
- For 1.18.2 Forge use CRRP-1.18.2-7.0.31.zip and copy to minecraft/resourcepacks/CRRP-1.18.2-7.0.31.zip.
- For 1.19.2 Fabric use CRRP-1.19.2-1.0.1.zip and copy to minecraft/resourcepacks/CRRP-1.19.2-1.0.1.zip.
3. If you have run the pack before completing steps 1 & 2, then copy "minecraft/config/[yosbr or defaultoptions]/options.txt" to "minecraft/options.txt" (this will ensure the Conquest Reforged resource pack is loaded on launch.)
4. I also highly recommend installing TheUnknownDad's Conquest of [...] resourcepacks listed below: (I am grateful that TheUnknownDad hopes to soon offer a combined CCA resource pack containing all of the below Conquest of ... resource packs.)
These optional resource packs should be loaded AFTER the Conquest Reforged Resource Pack.
- Conquest of Create loaded immediately after the Conquest Reforged Resource Pack
- Darker Conquest Deepslate
- Conquest of Resourceful Tools
- Conquest of Curios (1.18.2 only)
- Conquest of Farmer's Delight
- Conquest of Lootr (if this is loaded with Darker Conquest Deepslate, loading of resource packs may fail and/or result in a crash)
- Conquest of Torchmaster (1.18.2 only)
- Conquest of Gravestone Mod
- Conquest of Waystones
5. Start the game. It takes several minutes to load due to Optifine (1.18.2 Forge only), resource pack, and the mod, Conquest Reforged - be patient. If in Forge 1.18.2 and you are watching the logs and the game seems stuck at "[Worker-Main-15/INFO] [ne.op.Config/]: [OptiFine] BetterGrass: Parsing configuration optifine/bettergrass.properties" that is normal.
The pack runs best with 6-8GB of allocated RAM and a decent video card.

Faithful Resource Pack
The fonts and many of the GUI textures used in this pack originated with the resource pack, Classic Faithful 32x Jappa. At the time, (2023-03-17) the only texture we have modified is the widgets.png. Over time, we plan to slowly replace the textures one by one to closely reflect the style for CCA.
We thank Faithful_Resource_Pack for allowing us to use and modify these textures according to their Custom License. The original and modified assets used in CCA are located in "minecraft/kubejs/assets/minecraft" as are the original files, license.txt, and credits.txt. Some of the files in this and other sub-folders have originated from us or other artists.

If you are having lag issues, please consider trying a different Java runtime (JDK or JRE). This is a December 10, 2022 screenshot of my system. This PC is not the latest powerhouse but is most definitely not a Potato PC. Using the default OpenJDK bundled with Linux Mint works fine in most situations, but I noticed significant lag when grinding, mixing, or drilling with Create. I thought it was a memory leak, but I watched my F3 screen a lot and found it was not a memory leak issue. I was talking to my sons (senior software engineers), who suggested trying a different JVM. One son (who works on the AWS team) suggested Amazon Corretto OpenJDK. After changing to Corretto, my game runs smooth as silk.
