CU Wildlife Club Experience

This modpack was created for the University of Colorado Wildlife Club to bring a rich, animal-filled Minecraft experience to life. It’s designed to blend exploration, creativity, and a deeper connection with nature, all within the familiar feel of Minecraft.

Built on the foundation of More Animals [FABRIC], the pack expands the ecosystem with mods like Epic Hunt and Wildlife Expanded, introducing a wide variety of animals and behaviors. While it’s a fairly large pack, careful balance changes help preserve the core Minecraft experience without overwhelming it.

Quality-of-life improvements—such as shaders, a minimap, and waypoints—enhance the journey without distracting from it. You’ll also find slower-paced, immersive tech mods like Create and ComputerCraft, which encourage creativity over raw power.

Massive environment overhauls and a variety of structure mods breathe life into the world, making exploration more rewarding and the landscape more dynamic. A key focus was avoiding an overpowered "endgame" feel that makes your character feel disconnected from the vanilla Minecraft roots.
