THE PACK
The idea of Survival Island is simple; You spawn alone on a deserted island with limited resources and no escape. You must work hard to survive and thrive on this forsaken island. There is only one tree, and you must harvest it to get start, but for Notch's sake, do not lose that sapling! This is the only tree you've got. That should be enough of a challenge, right?
Wrong.
Mods make the map even more challenging by requiring you to work harder to get basic resources. Think you can turn planks into sticks? Ha! Think again. Everything familiar and easy about surviving just got a lot more difficult. Do you have what it takes to survive? Can you build a house and conquer the underground? There may even be treasure for those brave enough to find it...
THE INSPIRATION
Howdy, folks! Cub here, and I recently passed 20,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel! To celebrate, I decided to play Ashien's original Survival Island map, as it was the first Minecraft series I did on my channel over five years ago. But I wanted to do something different. So I sat back, double-clicked the Curse launcher, and began adding fun and interesting mods that would spice up the experience! Now you can experience this nostalgia trip for yourself!
This pack includes Ashien's original Survival Island, but it does not include the shaders that I used earlier in my series. Sorry, but I do not have distribution rights for those, so you'll have to work that out for yourself.
I'm having a blast playing this pack, and I hope all of you will as well!
