About

Description

Venture out into the world and slay the enemies on your path to level up your RPG stats, explore strongholds, ships, and fortresses for loot, so that you can one day stand up against the bosses of mass destruction. Collect rings, belts, necklaces, and other trinkets with a myriad of different blessings to help you on your journey, or hope to be able to get a lucky harvest of organs from the foes you fell with your blade, and implant them for different abilities or alterations to your stats depending on the organ type and what mob it came from.

Before starting your journey, you'll be prompted to decide whether you want to be blessed by one of the 6 Aspects: Anemo (Air), Geo (Earth), Hydro (Water), Pyro (Fire), Ardo (Light), Perditio (Dark). Upon selecting your Aspect. See this as a specialization of sorts. Each. Aspect and Type offer various strengths and weaknesses you can use to your advantage on your journey. Will you choose the Tempus (Storm) Type from the Anemo Aspect, or the Magnus (Magma) or Navitas (Spark) Type from the Pyro Aspect? Perhaps the Cryo (Ice) Type from Hydro is more up your alley? Maybe you don't like the idea of Aspects and thus choose Vacuus, which makes you unblessed by the elements, or perhaps you prefer the base Aspect and don't fancy any of the Types and thus choose Imp, which keeps the Aspect in it's purest form. The choice is yours.

After having selected your Aspect and Type, you'll be encouraged to select an Origin. You can see this as your race, and can expect to see a wide array of different Origins, each which come with their own pros and cons, and impact the gameplay to varying extents. Perhaps you'd like to be an Elf, and enjoy an increase in movement speed and significant boost to the damage dealt by your arrows, or maybe phasing through blocks as a Phantom is more your style? Perhaps 2020 and 2021 wasn't enough for you, and you'd like to be a Plague Victim (and hopefully remember to socially distance)? Maybe you previously selected the Pyro Aspect, and thus have a natural resistance to fire which you'd like to take advantage of, and therefore decide to pick an Origin which is normally cursed by a severe vulnerability to flames, like the Siren. Or perhaps you'd like to use your Aspect to play into more of the strengths of your Origin, rather than trying to fix its weaknesses. Lastly, you'll get to select a class before finally beginning your journey, but don't forget that you can also go through rituals to either become a Werewolf or a Vampire through Bewitchment later on.

There's almost an endless amount of possible builds you can create when you factor in all of the RPG stats, trinkets, organs, Aspects, Types, Origins, Classes, as well as lycanthropy and vampirism, and you're bound to have endless fun exploring all of the new structures and fighting new mobs and bosses! There's also various tech mods, such as Modern Industrialization, in case making machines and building factories is appealing to you. Or you can try to go to space! Oh, and we also have immersive portals.. try lighting one for yourself, and take a peek!

Curses and Blessings was mainly just meant as a little project for me to sink time into, and play with my friends, but you're more than welcome to try it out for yourself!
