Description
After my first try on the yogbox modpack, 5 years ago, I realised how awesome it was and how much of adventure you can get by simply putting some mods together and today I'm glad to show you my first try on Deep Inside Adventure "DIA"!
This is a modpack in which i choose the most adventurous and hardcore mods to get the best experience with survival and magic elements! I'm looking forward to make sure to bring a new hit in the minecraft community by changing craftings, giving a nice touch between all the mods and making everything feel right!
The Main focus of the modpack is to show you how much fun you can get by playing only adventure and magic mods combining them with a realistic touch that only minecraft can provide!
I made sure that you'll be able to feel a sense of progression during the play through by adding skills, extra health and some hardcore quest to make sure you'll find out how much the game will be easier by completing them!
Some EXAMPLES of what you'll experience by playing this modpack:
- You'll start with 3 hearts (6 health) and during the game you'll be able to get a maximum of 20 hearts (40 health) by completing the first line with 14 quests!
- You'll be submerged by a lot of realistic elements that will take your adventure into a better experience like: New cave generation, Ambient sounds, Fantastic biome generation provided by Biomes O'Plenty mod, Dynamic trees, etc...
- You'll be able to learn the basics of the most famouse magic mods like thaumcraft, arcane archives, arcane world, etc... with a fantastic lore provided by compleating quest during your descoveries! (Lore isn't available for now, but I'm looking forward to implement it!)
- One of your new task will be to identify and learn some of new craftings that will make your experience completly new and exciting with a lot of hardcore elements that will dig your adventure into a nightmare full of challenges!

- The game will provide you a stress meter where your decisions will rise or decrease stress depending on the situations. (Like eating food, killing mobs and sleeping.)
- To keep your stress lvl in a good place, you need to drink tea or eat food provided by the teastory mod.
- Some early craftings are changed and some items won't have a recipe at all. This change was made to give a more spicy look at your adventure. (In the near future I'll provide a list with all the items with a special crafting and removed recipes.)
- You'll die in the darkenss unless you have a source of light near you or with you! (The best way to survive is to have a torch in your second hand.)
- All the crops were configured for serene season mod so you'll need to check the current season before planting seeds! (Crops will be destroied if they're planted in the wrong season, but to balance this you'll get a lot of experience by harvesting a grown crop.)
- Caves are one of the most dangerous places where you'll have to go, because it has a particular generation that will make it hard to explore.
- Almost all the mobs you'll find in the wild will be a challenge to fight + vanilla mobs will have some special effects that will make them unique in it's own way!
- Since it'll be hard to explore caves by having them wide open and having thons of mobs near you at all time, I implemented the torchbow mod that will allow you to safely light up dark places and to avoid instant death by exploring new zones.
- To farm some hard items or just to have an afk grinding "machine", were added water strainers which will provide you with some nice items by avoiding to farm for them all the time and letting you focus more on the exploration side of the game! (Please use this mod, it'll give you a lot of advantage over the frustrating stuff you'll find out in the wild!)
- By exploring the world you'll find some portals with a size of a door. Those doors will provide you with a small/medium dungeon which can bring you (in most cases) to death.
- Nether is a real hell right now, so wait to get a nice gear before running into death + It's gorgeous with it's new biomes!
- Since I don't really like tinker's construct and I prefer something easier with a little sense of magic, I chose tetra as a personalized weapon mod.
- One of the first goal you'll have to do with the initial start of the game is to find a village which will give you a lot of nice items to start your play through + you'll find a bounty block that will provide you with some little repetable tasks to get your decoration items, which you won't be able to craft! (Bounty mod Implemented from 1.20+)
From the 1.8 version you're able to do the first line of 14 quests implemented into the game! More quests will come in the upcoming versions!
Change log for quests:
- 1.8 (14 quests 1 quest line)
- 1.9 (22 quests 2 quest lines)
- 1.15 (30 quests 3 quest lines)
- 1.19 (43 quests 4 quest lines)
Known issues:
- For now all the quest don't have a description.
-To start with your quests you need to set up a key on your keyboard (in the controls settings)From 1.9 you'll get a questbook at the start of your game and you also can craft it!
- There is a tiny chance that bone meal will destroy any block by shift clicking on something.
- Sometimes skeletons and zombies freeze and become living statues... (I never found this bug, but some people showed me that it actually exist.)
- Some Items have a null preview so I disabled them with their craftings. (Like twilight forest's doors.)
