The disease was not a natural calamity — it was a deliberate strike. The vile breath brought the first plague — but it was only the beginning. As the land descended into chaos, a shadowy gas driven kingdom, known only to a select few, seized the opportunity to bring their machinery of control into play.  The region was turned into a playground of hell.

Your goal is to reach the brass age.. and to thrive.. to rebuild what has been lost with more on top.

The land was changed,  covered in an endless fog. The plague spread rapidly... rats and swarms of grotesque insects, mutating life across the realm. What followed was a new age — an age where the "doctors", mysterious figures in black robes, stalk the land, sowing both death and rebirth. You arrived to your continent now as an endless storm, and a foggy remnant of what it once was

they are not mere healers..

Who are they really..?

Maggots,Rats,Overgrown Insects, demons, living bacteria (slimes) and the undead now Scourge the land while a  plague known as the "black death" challenges your needs of survival further..Can you rebuild a sanctuary atop this new world with the new challenges you face?..

This is a Hardcore, realistic survival experience in a strictly Medieval to brass age style

You will go from eating rat meat and using minecarts equipped with a crossbow all the way to eating sandwiches and riding a steamrail.. Oh - theres a musket too.

SURVIVE- The black age Is Unforgiving; Hardcore Darkness,Hardcore Torches,Hardcore Healing,Hardcore Spelunking, you'll struggle to keep alive at every moment

CONQUER- The generated structures are crawling with monsters, and sometimes instead bandits.. if conquered they could be established as a base to establish dominance among the area..

FIGHT- All  vanilla mobs have been replaced by new high quality modded monsters from mods such as ArPhEx,And ZoNiEx, (othes include the rats mod, wildlife overhaul and etc) ..additionally, combat has been overhauled by BetterCombat.

ENJOY- Blood&gore , Better Animations, and Improved Visuals with the Patrix32x pack and others with a lag-free experience and minimal mods (About 135 Mods, 140mb)

CREATE- The Create mod should give you all the tools needed for light automation and transitioning into the steam age..complete with three medieval guns! Additionally, your first tools will be made of flint, or bone.. You may not break blocks with simply your hand..will you make it to the brass era?youve been given the ability to craft even a steampowered vehicle

EXPERIENCE- A new way to see minecraft with the goal being forging a path to success

CAST- Spells can be found or created with irons spellbooks and staffs..become a sorceror or an occultist all by yourself with the authentic wizardry mod, and support for the JustLeveling Fork.

SHOOT- You'll have a great selection of crossbows, bows, and even a few medieval guns such as a flintlock, boomstick, handgonne, and more! Additionally bone arrows exist for your convenience..wearing lighter armor such as gambesons will make you swifter and more nimble.

ATTACK- a wide selection of polearms,swords,axes,blunts,and shields await your usage.. Additionally an even wider selection of historically accurate plate armor can be crafted by casting iron to steel.. Beware that the extra protection does although come at the cost of speed and practicality.

DEFEND- cannons,catapults,bear traps,rat traps, and many more tools such as cuffs are at your ready, these will help you establish security at your base; i heavily recommend you to create fortified towers for defending your base from the undead and the beasts, and possibly even enemy players with a ranged weapon

COMMUNICATE- VoiceChat is enabled and Roleplaying Opportunity Awaits.. With Argonauts you may form parties and alliances!

Can you build a shelter safe from the plague and "Gods" Judgement? Or will you Rot, only to become one with the soil, food for a rat, or damned to hell..

-This modpack should run well on low end hardware

-any items that do not fit this modpack; both modded and unmodded have been removed

-sprinting and jumping will drain your hunger very quickly

-end dimension removed

-diamond tools removed (diamond pickaxe remains)

-blow netherite up for magic gear and better melee gear

-3 days to prepare for a full infestation of demons

-torches last for 40 minutes 

-mining deeper underground will yield slower mine speed

-health regen is set back alot. Sleep at night to recover 8 hearts

-realistic temperature and thirst

-rats and maggots are edible, but not recommended

-all animations including block placement overhauled

-you can create a shop pedestal

-you can cuff players

-you can build a tower with a catapult

-you can become a tanky warrior

-you can become a deadly ranger

-you can become a powerful mage

you can become a villain

you can form a party

-you can do alot more

You are recommended to form a server or team on this modpack as it is highly difficult

There is no linear Goal. you will suffer and your task is to minimize that suffering as much as possible.

It is recommended to leave the settings as they were shipped for the best experience
