DREAD is the most immersive and creepy modpack for Minecraft
This modpack is designed to keep you on edge as you navigate pitch-black caves and foggy nights, never letting you feel comfortable. DREAD is meant to make every task feel like it might be your last. It does this by removing every vanilla hostile mob and instead replacing them with grotesque creatures that stalk and chase the player.
Play with your friends using the included proximity chat mod, but make sure not to lose them, or you might be alone in the pitch-dark.
"DREAD Reborn", which is the new version 3.0 of the modpack, changes everything about it to make it more immersive and horrifying than ever.
The same principles are here, but this overhaul adds so much more to the experience, such as:
some guns, multiple main biomes, seasons, thirst, new shaders and textures, realistic physics, new horrors and more...
While there are some known bugs with 3.0, these will be quickly fixed

Q&A:
Q: Why doesn't the Nether portal work? Why can't I access it?
A: The Nether has been removed as it hasn't been modded to fit the modpack. This will be changed either with the Nether being updated and accessible or in the custom villager trading update, where you can buy Nether items. This update will be 3.1.0.
Q: Why so few guns? What are they for?
A: There are few guns because I wanted DREAD Reborn to have a more hunting/survival vibe, guns were originally for hunting monsters AND animals as they were planned to run away from you, but I couldn't find a mod to make animals run away and didn't want to delay the update. It might be added later on, though. (Also, having rocket launchers and ARs would be hard to balance and would not be right)
Q: Server pack?
A: There is not currently a server pack (There might be in the future). But all you need to do is move the files to the server as normal and remove all client-side mods.
Q: I got a bug/issue. How can I fix this?
A: If you have a bug or issue, please do not comment on CurseForge, as I don't read them too often; instead, go to DREAD's official Discord and put a bug report/question there!
Q: How do I load the flare gun?
A: If you Crouch-Right click while holding it, it should bring up a menu where you put the flare in!
Q: What do I do? There doesn't seem to be anything to do.
A: DREAD at the moment is just a horror-survival focused modpack at the moment. I've taken feedback on the modpack, and there will be future updates to add trading to make more to do. I will also eventually add a quest update to give a proper direction for players to do something. Hopefully, there will be a future final horror boss to be the final boss.
Future Major Updates Path:
3.0.0 - DREAD Reborn released
3.1.0 - DREAD Online goes live to Patreons and later goes public
3.2.0 - Customised Villager trading
3.3.0 - Weapons update (Might be included with 3.2.0)
3.4.0 - Quests and missions
