Description
MineTrek is a compilation of 1.16.5 fabric mods that are focused on improving game performance, adding quality of life features, including some RPG elements and some vanilla tweaks.
To use this modpack you need to install Fabric
I focused on promoting exploration over mundane grinding. My favorite settings is to pick a feline as my race and cleric as the occupation, this setting coupled with the Yung's better caves and mineshafts results in a neat exploration experience, where Feline allows you to see in the dark and negate fall damage, however make sure you have a way out of the caves since felines can't break stone blocks with more than two adjacent stone blocks.
Of course you can choose any race or occupation. If this isn't your cup of tea then you can pick a Human Nitwit, which is just normal Minecraft. However, if you do choose a race then make sure to pick the right magical ring which might negate the disadvantages. There is also a large number of mods that just improve on the base game, ranging from a simple zoom feature to a mod that maintains the integrity of the stronghold structure.
