About
Description
How were we to know he would turn out to be so bad?
Maybe it was all the exploration deep down in the mines and bowels of the world. Maybe it was travelling to hellish dimensions. Maybe it was simply because he kept to himself, and never really became part of our village. Whatever it was, it caused him to change, to turn against us and the world.
At first it was just in little ways that no one worried about. Building incredible and complex machines to automate and ease the every day life of an adventurer. Removing the undead and other hostile mobs from the country side. Growing weird and wonderful crops to eat and trade.
But at some point things changed. He began playing with magical forces beyond our understanding. Did wild experiments on the creatures of the world. Performed unspeakable rituals in the dark of night, drenching himself in power and blood.
When the people of our village started changing or disappearing, we tried to stop him. But it was too late. While we had been spending our time working in our small little village, he had grown incredibally powerful in both technology and magic.
He had become an EVIL GENIUS, and there was no stopping him.
Evil Genius is a progression modpack that let's you explore the "evil" side of Minecraft. Build ominous lairs and bases. Destroy the landscape with massive quarries and structures. Imprison mobs for heinous experiments and rituals. Become an all powerful overlord and rule the world with an iron (diamond?) fist.
This is a progression modpack, but probably NOT an "expert" pack. Recipes have been modified mostly to integrate the various mods into the progression path, not to make them difficult or grindy (I hope). However, you should expect that things will get more involved the further you progress. Automation is the key to success.
Quests and a questbook are provided to guide you through the progression of the pack, leading you to creative items and the ultimate symbol of your evil genius, the Evil Egghead Trophy. Obtain it to show your evil mastery of the universe:
