You have been trapped in a void dimension by an evil creature (The Leviathan)
Lore:
In the overworld, there was a great battle against The Leviathan. Unfortunately, while fighting the Leviathan he trapped you in a void dimension by the evil creature.
Your only way out is to start from scratch by gathering resources from the tree at the island's center. Once you have done that, you will need to progress through various dimensions to return to the overworld and rebuild civilization.
