This is not a Horror Pack. This is the opposite of a Horror Pack. However, we do have very fancy sushi.

About

Description

This is not one of the several "horror packs" that have very similar names. There's not much to fear in the night here. Why the scare quotes? Horror packs are scary, that's why!

The pack is still a work in progress, but most of the recipe changes are complete.  Questlines are going to take a while. I can't update as often as I like, but I'll continue to update it until I'm satisfied that it's finished.

This pack is about building, cooking, automation and crafting/processing recipes that integrate the mods wtih each other. It's also about combat and hostile mobs being an event instead of a constant pressure and/or annoyance.

This is not a progression pack, but many recipes have been changed from their defaults. You'll end up using most of the mods if you explore the pack thoroughly. What makes this pack different from an Expert Mode pack is that the hardest things to craft are largely decorative items, novelty items, and fancy food. There are well over 2000 custom recipes as of this writing.

You'll go through some stuff trying to make a laptop or a chocolate bar, but advancing through the tech and magic mods isn't difficult or tedious.

Most hostile mobs do not spawn in the dark or at night in the Overworld or from vanilla spawners. They can be summoned, and their drops can be found and/or crafted. Phantoms don't spawn under any circumstances, but there are a few ways to get Membranes if you really need them.

However, hostile mobs do spawn under certain circumstances. Illager patrols are still around. Zombie Sieges can happen. Skeleton Traps are still a thing, and so on. Structures still contain some mobs. You can find Drowned in underwater ruins, the Woodland Mansions still have pillagers and Igloos should have their Zombie VIllager.

Magma Cubes spawn normally, because Froglights. I'll write it in to the story. Silverfish still spawn from their spawner.

The idea with the story is that You Won. Finally. The curse is broken. Nature has returned. The Universe is largely free of undead - no Zombified Piglins in the Nether, and Piglins can survive in the Overworld. Villagers, Illagers and Piglins have all expanded their civilizations. The Endermen and Creepers are gone. Arthropod Gigantism is still a thing, but the world isn't covered in giant spiders anymore.

Whatever arcane mechanism powers the Ender Dragon? That's still there. Golems are still a thing, so Shulkers are still a thing.
