Why It Exists

I never liked Microsoft and what they did to Minecraft. They kind of killed the soul of the game. Every version from 1.7.10 felt less like Minecraft and more like something Microsoft would make and fail. They killed innovation and creativity in their updates. Nothing notible ever came out IMO. They just polished it to death. Yes, they did some big overhauls but that was it. Never as big as Minecraft deserved.

This modpack aims to capture what Minecraft could've been. It's what we want, not Microsoft. How do I know? Mods are made by players for themselves to enjoy, aren't they? People develop colossal, game-changing stuff for free. Not because it "fits" or it's profitable, but because it's fun.

Start from scratch with TerraFirmaCraft's primitive survival, then do what you want:

• Explore dimensions
• Craft magic
• Build automations
• Leave the planet

This is the beauty of it. You don't have to do anything but you can do pretty much everything you can imagine.

I recommend allocating 8 GB of RAM. DON'T ADD OPTIFINE. We have an equivalent backport already.
