Gimble Gub Gub: 2: The returnining

This is a vanilla+ sort of modpack, but it contains a few larger mods that aren't so intrusive as well, that add things like completely new (Or once scrapped by Minecraft devs!) blocks, items, mobs, and biomes.

About

Description

↓ Below is a list all the things this mod adds, not particularly from smallest to biggest mods. ↓

- your dog will lie down when you're away for very long.

- all tree leaves will have a similar falling affect to cherry trees.
- varying ambient nature sounds will be heard as you explore the world, from birds, to crickets, to wind.
- When you've harvested all the wood from a tree, unless the leaves are connected to another tree's leaves, the leaf blocks will all break instantly.

- Flowing water very slowly erodes the world around it, making more focused streams, waterfalls, and rarely ponds & lakes!

- Small visual additions are added to the game; skeletons make bone particles when you hit them, slime particles when you hit slimes, (and as they move,) & crystals as well as golden items will have a sparkle effect.

- An incredibly important, game-changing effect; Bubbles pop when they hit the surface of water! All jokes aside, bubble physics are slightly changed, and at their end, bubbles have an added popping animation.

- Almost every biome in the game gets subtle changes; not game changing, there are no new blocks added, but it aims to make the game a little more beautiful! There are new formations like fallen logs, to forest clearings, to simple boulders.

- The nether, if you decide to visit it, has grown; it is now an entire 256 blocks high! In addition, there's also new terrain types and biome formation, as well as re-added nether mountains, which were planned to be in the original  Minecraft nether update as advertised in the trailer, but it was never introduced - now you can finally explore them as they were supposed to be!

- By far the biggest addition to this pack, Caves have what is basically an overhaul, with new cave formations, new blocks such as Rocky Dirt and Fragile Stone, whose entire vein crumbles when one block is mined, new ores named Silver and Spinel, and many new items that can be crafted with all of the new blocks! Additionally, in the new and improved caves, there are many new mobs, including Peepers, Mimes, and Deepers, as well as two mobs that once lost the Minecraft official mob vote; Copper Golems and Glares!

- In terms of shaders, there's only one, which is a simple Vanilla+ shader that aims to keep the original Minecraft feeling, but with a more vibrant and majestic view.

- Lastly, there are two resource packs; one that gives all ores a slight glow, to make caves a little more beautiful and make ores easier to pick out, and a water shader that slightly changes the color of water, depending on your biome.
