Description

Welcome to Goblin Craft

now with 0.0002% more Goblin

What started as browsing through the slowly growing mods for Minecraft 1.14 slowly turned into an attempt to craft what I would consider the perfect Vanilla+ experience. Picking up this mod and hopping right in should be no problem for any Minecraft player, as the majority of changes can organically be discovered through the traditional progression of Minecraft. Though of course JEI and JER are present to help anyone curious on how to move forward. Now you may be wondering "Why Goblin Craft?" and that is an excellent question as it really does make little sense seeing as there are no goblins involved.

Mod List

AutoRegLib - A simple library required by Quark.

Biomes O' Plenty - One of the few large mods in this pack, it overhauls terrain generation. Adding additional biomes and trees that all fit the Vanilla feel.

Clumps - As I planned to run this on a server with friends I grabbed this as a little helper in boosting performance.

Comforts - Adding hammocks and sleeping bags, Comforts gives you the option of napping through the day and skipping the night without setting your spawn. Two simple additions that are extremely convenient.

CraftTweaker - A tool that gives a lot of flexibility to creators of modpacks. However only serving one simple purpose for this one.

Enchantment Description - An addition I thought only made sense as from memory I could have sworn this was a vanilla feature.

Fast Leaf Decay - A quick fix to a personal gripe.

FastFurnace/Workbench - Similar to Clumps, added in an attempt to maximize performance.

Glassential - an interesting mod that adds a lot of functionality with the addition of only a few blocks. However using CraftTweaker I have disabled quite a few of the blocks in an attempt to maintain the vanilla feel.

GraveStone Mod - A mod that helps reduce frustration. By collecting all your items in a "chest" when you die you no longer loose your items if you take too long to find them. Personally I think this is an unnecessary addition and about the least "Vanilla" thing in this pack, but in an attempt to keep my friends playing with me and not running off in frustration I'll keep it here for now.

Just Enough Items (JEI) - An almost necessary addition to any modpack. If you've played modded Minecraft before you've seen this.

Just Enough Resources (JER) - a simple addition to JEI that adds just a few additional uses.

KleeSlabs - Another small addition that I would almost expect to just be in vanilla at this point.

Placebo - A necessary mod for running FastFurnace/Workbench.

Quark - The Core of this modpack. If you are looking for a Vanilla+ experience that perfectly fits the classic feel yet adds just that little bit more all you really need is this fantastic Mod. For all that it adds I highly recommend reading through their website. I have however removed the pickarang.

Simple Farming - Adding additional crops and recipes for food this pack really adds a whole other experience for those who want to try the quieter side of Minecraft. It's so my girlfriend has something to do.
