Why?

Because you should be able to experience prime Minecraft on a new version not just on old versions.

How?

Using a few mods and tweaks it makes the experience feel and look like old Minecraft.

Notes:

Some features are NOT og or modern and are made to represent the feel and grind of old Minecraft, for example enchanting is much harder but not rng based unlike in the old versions.

There are some new items but only for quality of life usage or for the remaking of existing systems that aren't very nostalgic (ex the enchanting infuser that was tweaked to be harder).

Philosophy

The philosophy behind this modpack is to make it as og as possible and if that isn't directly possible to make it how it feel that way. That's why sometimes thing seem stupidly hard, (for example netherithe armor is crafted with ingots) that's how Old Minecraft was difficult, the difficulty alongside the sandbox aspects was what made it beautifull.
