Description
This is the collection of mods I've put together for my style of Minecraft gameplay on stream. Folks have been asking what modpack I use - well, I've finally put one together. Hope that you enjoy it as much as I have!
The modpack expands some core game mechanics, adds several "quality of life" features to the core vanilla experience, and extends technology without being considered too "far future" in look and feel.
With Terraforged, Biomes 'o Plenty, and Quark, terrain generation is more diverse and natural-looking, caves have new features, and new biome-specific mobs and trees are available. Speaking of trees, with Dynamic Trees and Better Folliage you'll find trees look and function more naturally. The seas are now teaming with varied life and surprises with Aquaculture 2 - as well as a new, mythical armor type. With Ambient Sounds, each biome has its own sound set that makes the world feel more immersive. And with Just Enough Resources and Journeymap, you'll know where you are, and what you need to craft anything your build may require.
Food is expanded with the Pam's Harvestcraft family of farmable crops, more craftable foods, and fruit trees. Slabs are expanded with the ability to place 2 different slabs in the same block space as well as be placed vertically - torches and lanterns can also able to be placed on half-blocks. PackedUp provides craftable backpacks to carry more things on long journeys. Plus, lots of new blocks to build and decorate with are provided with Decorative Blocks and the Macaw's family of mods.
Finally, with the Create Mod, you can build complex machines and mechanisms to automate farming, item sorting, ore processing, and so much more - while still maintaining a lower-tech look and feel.
All mods included in this modpack are found here on CurseForge. I highly recommend using OptiFine with this modpack, which can be found at optifine.net
Special thanks to:
- Sketch Macaw for his incredible work
- The developers of Aquaculture
- Pamela Collins (MatrexsVigil) and Rhodox of the Painterly Pack for their awesome work in the Pam's HarvestCraft family of mods
