Description

... is a minecraft modpack that I initially put together for my friend group to run on a server, which has since grown into something that I was passionate about to publish to curseforge! The concept of the modpack is simple. It's cozy, comforting even! Since I made it to be with friends, I wasn't focusing on changing big game mechanics, or adding cool new things to do. I just wanted to build cute houses and have cute pets with my friends. And then I added more things, wanted to change some stuff, and here we are! Here's a short overview

I must admit, this modpack heavily favors builders. And while sure other modpacks may have even more robust decorations and block variety, the visually-inclined players of this modpack will be delighted to see just how many new and fun blocks there are to play with. From roofing, to furniture, block textures, to mechanics, builders are eating good today. A lot of the building comes from mods like Chipped, Framed Blocks, and furniture mods like Handcrafted, and a variety of Macaw's content. To get an idea of what's possible, here's an image of the base I made in this modpack

As for this specific build, it's based primarily off of the purple Ars Noveau logs and leaves, which are combined with Framed Blocks to create the overgrown aesthetic. The stairs and roof are both courtesy of Macaw's mods, and the chain links are a seperate mod in general. All these different mods merge together to allow greater things than any one could ever achieve

One of the core aspects of this mod is its player customization. The player character has never been more customizable! Most of the customization comes from Cosmetica, which adds custom hats, capes, nametags, you name it! On top of this, I also have Wildfire's Female Gender Mod and Ears+, which (although taking time to learn for the latter, so please consult the mod's website or config file to use properly), upgrades your self-expression tenfold. For an example of what I was able to acheive, here are some in-game screenshots of my personal avatar

This is just what I wear, but there's many combinations! The ears and tail are 100% hand-made pixelart, and there's thousands of hat, cape, and even shoulder accessories, so any aesthetic is entirely available and encouraged

Another core aspect of this modpack is how extensively it focuses on farming and cooking. This is one of the primary comforts that the modpack provides, and it offers many ways to liven up your surroundings and gatherings through a variety of food. Of course, the vast majority of this comes from Farmer's Delight and all of its addons. This pack comes with compatibility between Farmer's Delight and every major mod in the pack, along with many other expansions that build upon the modpack's food world. However, this is not the only source of food, as a few Let's Do mods like Let's Do Brewery pitch in with their own consumables (primarily food)

A lot of this food is from Farmer's Delight, but some drinks are from Let's Do HerbalBrews and Vinery, and even one from BeachParty. The jar, although being from Supplementaries, offers a great way to display Farmer's Delight cookies. The table is also from Let's Do Brewery which, although primarily adding beer and whiskey, does have some decoration blocks

While I tried to make the game much more relaxing and slow-paced, this is still minecraft and I recognize this. So, knowing that I wanted to ensure this modpack had enough extra content to prevent it from growing one-note. The largest additions are Ars Noveau and Create. The biggest reason I included these is to appeal to those who are interested in those mods specifically, so they could hopefully still have fun while playing with their more aesthetic friends. Another large inclusion was the Luminous series of mods, which offer great vanilla+ additions. These mods offer more to do in what would otherwise be a one-note modpack

You may recognize the slime island from the popular mod Tinker's Construct, which I included as a sort of companion for Create, and due to its sheer quality. The strange pheonix bird is from Mythic Mounts which, along with adding this Ho-oh esque ridable mount, adds other rideable creatures from wolves, turtles, and even dragons
