Designed to be relaxing and comfortable with little challenge, often including elements like peaceful villages, farming, and gentle exploration.
Features a central focus of farming and villages/ homesteading.
Includes a large focus on traversing worlds with enhanced world generation, structures, dungeons, and more for players to find unique loot.
Focuses on strategic base fortification and defense against PvE threats. Usually includes traps, turrets, enhanced enemy AI, and automation.
Features content that solely expands on Vanilla mechanics and gameplay.
Includes quests that drive progression, whether through a quest book, NPC, or other in world source.
Emphasizes combat mechanics and fighting gameplay.
Enhances or adds content related to Illagers, such as new types and behaviors.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

Welcome to the "Hero of the Village" modpack
This modpack centers around being a brave warrior and save the village by defending it from raids*.

You will spawn in the center of a village. This village is your home and the villages are your people. Just like in real life, your home could be a small, cozy village with a few people around or a mega village with hundreds of villagers. You can find a ton of new villagers types and professions. Some of these trades are unique and can help you progress faster.
The overworld is packed with various structures and dungeons but before start exploring you can take advantage of the peaceful environment of the village and prepare yourself for the battles in the future. When you're strong enough, start exploring and bring home loot from all around the world. Other bigger, fancier villages might have something that you couldn't find in your home. Don't miss out on exploring neighboring villages to see what they have to offer. Once ready, start a raid and defend the village. The goal of this mod pack is to get the "Hero of the Village" Advancement without cheesing the raid process! (i.e. hiding all villagers, building a tall wall around the village, ...) You can specify your own cheesing threshold and enjoy the game as you like. depending on the size of your home village, you might have a harder time defending your bigger village but instead start the game with more resources and support or vice versa.
This is a work in progress and far from what it is supposed to be. Please be patient and contribute if you have any suggestions.
I am open to any comment about the mods that are currently in the modpack and/or new mods that can be a good addition to this pack.
