Tips for Starting:

you start off on an island (assuming you have the default settings on)

your main goal is to get the materials you need to SURVIVE, however it is not as simple as just punching wood. it will require a significant ammount of effort to start progressing.

in order to learn how to progress you are going to want to turn to your ftbquests book thing, here you will find all kinds of neat little necessities that will teach you have to SURVIVE

Time Based Events:

after a certain ammount of minutes after loading into a world certain scripted events should happen (such as a ufo crashing or an eldritch deity awakening)
