Horror+: Wonderland is a Forge modpack built around wonderland.jar, designed to turn Minecraft into a slow, unpredictable horror experience.

The world may look completely normal at first. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Something is watching. Something is waiting. And eventually, you may find yourself somewhere you were never meant to be.

The pack focuses on atmosphere, exploration, immersion, and psychological horror, while expanding the world around Wonderland with new terrain, structures, sounds, visuals, and environmental effects.

Wonderland gradually takes control of your experience. Its events can occur unexpectedly, and its entities don't always follow the normal rules of Minecraft.

Wonderland

At the center of Horror+ is wonderland.jar.

The mod introduces a large network of strange dimensions, each with its own environments, entities, and ways to progress or escape. Wonderland itself acts as a central part of this network, while numerous other dimensions can be reached through different entrances and events.

The horror doesn't begin at full intensity.

Wonderland uses a grace period, meaning the beginning of a world can feel surprisingly normal. Events and encounters gradually become more frequent.

So enjoy the quiet.

It won't stay that way.

Audio & Atmosphere

Horror+ is built to make Minecraft feel unsettling even when nothing is happening.

AmbientSounds and Sound Physics Remastered enhance the environment with deeper ambience, echoes, and more immersive sound propagation.

Combined with Enhanced Celestials, custom shaders, and Wonderland's own audio design, the goal is to make you question whether that sound you just heard was actually nothing.

Performance

The pack also includes performance optimizations such as Embeddium and Entity Culling, allowing the horror experience to remain smooth even with the additional world generation, entities, effects, and dimensions.

Installation

Horror+: Wonderland is designed for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge.

Make sure your Minecraft instance is running Forge 1.20.1 and install the modpack through your preferred launcher.
