About

Description

Immense is a Minecraft 1.15.2 modpack that has the "kitchen-sink" experience while being heavily configured and tweaked in terms of recipes and mod configs. Its design goal is to mostly incentive Player-Focused Design, or in other words, the tweaks prefer engineering solutions you can be proud of rather than utilizing "magic blocks" that do all the work for you.

It also has an extensive Modpack Guide that gives descriptions of many major and minor content mods, as well as the tweaks in the pack.

Mod List: see Relations page.

More specifics on tweaks:

Two major trees: Magic and Tech;

  • On the tech tree, Mekanism is quite nerfed and largely gated behind Create. 5x ore processing still completely obtainable, however, it takes effort.
  • The magic "tree" is really less of a tree and more of a series of soft-gates on "magical" and nature-related items, mostly incentivising Botania. (Obligatory "Botania is a Tech Mod.")

Lots of hidden/removed/disabled items to prevent content overlap. Items that have different uses but similar names have been renamed.

Extensively configured Silent's Gems and Silent Gear. Gems are obtained differently and are useful as alternate crafting ingredients and currency at the Market.

Custom advancements.

Easter eggs.
