The official Into the Shadows server provides players with something most other severs cannot, absolute freedom. There are no staff constantly watching you, waiting for you to screw something up. There are no claim systems preventing you from exploring the world in its entirety. There are no restrictions on your creative freedom. Your only limits are your own imagination.

FAQ:

Q: How do I install Optifine?

A: 

1. Download the latest 1.12.2 release of Optifine from the Optifine website.
2. Select the modpack in Twitch.
3. Click the ... button in the top right-hand corner of the modpack window on Twitch.
4. Click Open Folder.
5. In the resulting window, open the mods folder.
6. Place the Optifine .jar file into the mods folder.
7. Restart your client.

Q: Why are there already six resource packs enabled? Can I disable them?

A: Do not disable these resource packs. These are used by Immersive Railroading to add extra trains to the game. If you wish to include your own resource pack, simply add it to the list, positioning it below the IE packs.

Q: Are there really no rules on the official server?
A: Technically no. We do have three fundamental rules. 1. Don't use hacked clients. 2. Don't exploit major bugs. 3. Don't attempt to crash or create severe server lag for the purpose of ruining the experience for others. Beyond that, we have no rules. Chat is unrestricted, combat and griefing is unrestricted you can really do whatever you want.
