It Chomnk 1.14.4:

As of 1.14.4 this pack consists of all the most important mods for a nice modded experience on 1.14.4 while trying to keep the mod count somewhat reasonable.

It tries to get a 1.12.2-esque experience with technical mods like BluePower and RFTools, updating them as new features come out.  Obviously not everything from the version before is available yet, and things like item transportation and ore processing are somewhat limited. This pack includes no mods like FTBUtils with commands like /sethome to create a more vanilla-like experience in that regard.

If you want to get a modpack with all the technical mods like ThermalExpansion, go for 1.12.2 instead. (Which is what the description below is for)

It Chomnk 1.12.2:

Just a modpack containing some essential mods to play the "typical" FTB modded Minecraft - just without a few of the game-breaking mods like Draconic Evolution and Environmental Tech.

Makes for a relaxed experience for some messing around without all the performance trouble of extremely big packs.

Contains OpenTerrainGenerator for more interesting exploring in many different biomes, magical mods like Astral Sorcery and Thaumcraft and technical mods for automating everything (like ThermalExpansion, RFTools, Project:Red, FunkyLocomotion, OpenComputers). It's a bit of everything for everyone from the most popular mods out there, but mostly tech-focused.
